The short version: we collect what you send us, use it to reply, and do not sell it. The detail is below.

Who we are
TechShiner is a software studio based in Pakistan, working with clients internationally. In this policy, “TechShiner”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the studio. You can reach us at contact@techshiner.com.
What we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- When you contact us. Your name, email address, company or project name, project type, budget range, timeline and the message you write. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.
- When you browse the site. Standard server logs from our hosting and infrastructure providers, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page and timestamps. These are used for security, debugging and aggregate traffic measurement.
- Analytics. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand which pages are useful. It does not use advertising cookies or build a personal profile across sites.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal data (health, financial account details, government identifiers) in the contact form. Please do not send it.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and discuss a potential project.
- To prepare a proposal, scope or contract if we work together.
- To keep the site secure and diagnose technical problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To improve the site and understand aggregate usage.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an inquiry.
Legal bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and keeping the site secure; your consent where we ask for it; the performance of a contract or steps taken before a contract; and compliance with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the site and communicate with you. They process data on our instructions:
- Vercel — website hosting and aggregate analytics.
- Cloudflare — domain, API and email infrastructure.
- Hostinger — the mailbox that receives contact inquiries.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business transfer. We do not share inquiry content with advertisers.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside Pakistan or Australia. When they do, we rely on the providers’ contractual safeguards and standard data-protection terms. If you would like more detail, contact us.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, so we can remember the context if you return.
- Project and contractual records: for the period required by law and our accounting obligations.
- Server logs: typically 30 days, unless needed to investigate a security incident.
- Aggregate analytics: retained in aggregate form.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, and to ask for a portable copy. You can also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a request, email contact@techshiner.com with enough detail for us to find the record. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We may use essential storage required for the site to function. Vercel Analytics is designed to work without cookies. If we add a tool that changes this, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is completely secure. If you believe information you sent us has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and professional users. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site or our providers change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
